This week on My Life with SEGA we are having a classic episode. This week A.J. looks at Batman the video game on the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive.
“The Dark Knight Rises will be hitting theatres July 20th. It seems only fitting that we take a look back at Batman: The Video Game for SEGA Genesis….”
If you like the video subscribe and never miss an episode. If you have suggestions for other retro games you want to see reviewed, leave those in the comments.
We posted a few high resolution screenshots the other day, well we have more. This time the screens focus on the playable character Taiga Saejima. If you recall, he was in Yakuza 4, this time around he got himself a new haircut. What do you guys think? Does it suit him or do you want the longer hair?
Looks like a Japanese space marine! Hit the jump for more screens.
Sony has put up their chart for the top 20 best selling PSN games of last month. I actually thought Sonic 4: Episode II was going to at least come in at the top 3, but actually came in at number 5. Recently Sonic brand manager Ken Balough stated that Sonic 4: Episode I actually sold best on PSN, then XBLA and lastly Wii (which this one is not available for).
Want to see the top 20 list? Hit the jump. Note this is from the US Playstation blog, so probably only counts for US PSN.
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown has only been out for a week and it already crossed its sales target within Japan. The team responsible for porting the game announced their success via twitter earlier today. So how did Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown do everywhere else in the world?
Well, they didn’t mention that. Hopefully Playstation Plus promotions help the game out in the US.
I love Crush 40, but no one can stop the Sonic tunes of the mid-90s. Toot Toot Sonic Warrior has become a legendary song within the fandom. The song is incredibly energetic and upbeat, like a Sonic song should, and while the lyrics make no sense, the song still has a clearer meaning and relevance to Sonic as a character than anything done by Crash 40.
Not much more for me to say about this one, so just sit back and listen!
Even though a 21st anniversary isn’t as big in video games as it is in real life, SEGA is still having a sale. So its good to know that Sonic can finally get wasted, thanks SEGA. Whats on sale?
Anything you guys are looking forward to getting? That Sonic CD price is pretty damn good!
Phantasy Star Online 2 will have a lot of areas, one of the those new areas will be arctic frost filled with snow. Here are a ton of screenshots showing off the new snow areas, including monsters you will encounter. Check it out, tell us what you think.
So, we already posted these screenshots before. But last time they weren’t really good resolution, so it’s good seeing these screens in 720p. It sort of gives you a feel for the new engine, which is a brand new one for Yakuza 5.
Steam right now has Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing as their daily deal, slashing the price of the game from $14.99 to only $3.74. That is a deal right there. Even though the PC version of the game has the best graphics out of all the versions, the PC version is missing the online component, if that is important to you.
So if you are a PC gamer and haven’t picked this title up yet, can’t go wrong at $3.74.
Whether you like or hate Danica Patrick, every SEGA fan has to be happy with the overall line up revealed for SEGA’s upcoming racer. Vyse, Gilius, Joe Musashi, not to mention stages from Golden Axe and Panzer Dragoon make this game the best SEGA mascot mash up made in eons.
Recently, SEGA of America announced big changes in the way they publish their games. From now on, they will only publish what they feel are AAA titles. Sega then, must be really happy with Gearbox’s upcoming release of Aliens: Colonial Marines as it has been given a big push as of late. Despite several delays, the game seems to be coming together nicely. Yesterday, we got to talk with design director John Mulkey about the upcoming game based on the blockbuster franchise.
Hey folks we are back again for another week. This time its a intimate episode with just George and Barry the Nomad. On this week’s episode we talk about our feud with Deee-Lite singer Miss Lady Kier, What we think about Danica Patrick being in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and all the E3 talk your little heart can handle. Sit back and enjoy.
With E3 2012 over, videos are beginning to appear showing off the many games on display at the event. SEGA fans will no doubt love these Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed gameplay videos, the coolest one being Vyse racing through the Panzer Dragoon track. Fans will remember that Vyse and Panzer Dragoon were the two big surprises when the game was first revealed in late April. Now we get to see those two surprises in action! Eagle eyed readers may spot Amigo in his Loco-motive racing past Vyse. After the break, many more gameplay videos featuring other racers and tracks.
Sadly this episode is a few days late due to E3. But hey, I hope you guys are enjoying all this E3 content that is coming. The main man Ken Balough is back on Sonic Talk this week to talk to us more about Sonic 4: Episode II, now that the game is already out and we all played it, its an interesting talk. Like every week we have your weekly Sonic news, so take a break from all the E3 news and sit back for some Sonic Talk.

While waiting in the ridiculously long line for Metal Gear Rising, I let Nuckles87 hold my place in line while I went to speak with Aurelien Regard and Dimitri Pean of Arkedo Studio to talk all things involving Hell Yeah! This is the developer’s first time working with a big publisher and Hell Yeah! looks to be the studio’s most successful game to date. Read on to see what they had to say.
